IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management Consultant / Specialist
We're looking for an experienced IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) Consultant to help customers deploy, configure and optimise the IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management solution suite.
You'll work with organisations across Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Energy and other engineering-intensive sectors, supporting requirements management, traceability, testing and engineering workflows using tools including IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® Next, IBM® Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and IBM® Engineering Test Management (ETM).
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience deploying, configuring and administering IBM® ELM solutions
- Experience with IBM® ELM and/or DOORS®
- Strong understanding of requirements management and systems engineering
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Experience delivering consultancy, workshops and end-user training

Systems Engineering Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused Systems Engineering Consultant to join our team. This is a critical, customer-facing role that bridges the gap between our advanced technology solutions and the needs of our prospective clients.
You will work to articulate the technical capabilities of our products and services and design tailored solutions that meet the business and technical requirements of our customers.
This is a remote working role however the work may involve on-site client visits within the UK and occasionally abroad. Please only apply if you are happy with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate to understand customer needs and develop effective technical sales strategies
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for prospective clients
- Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and technical proposals
- Serve as a technical expert during RFP/RFI responses and client engagements
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal product, engineering, and support team
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and product enhancements
- Support sales cycles from a technical standpoint through to successful closure
This role would suit somebody who has experience in a pre-sales, systems engineering or technical consultancy role. You must have a strong understanding of enterprise systems engineering and associated IT/Engineering/Security concepts. Experience with solution architecture, systems integration and technical proposal writing would also be advantageous. As would experience in key engineering sectors such as Automotive, Rail or Nuclear.
A strong willingness to learn new technologies and continuously grow in a fast-evolving environment is a must.
